A lifetime of movement taught me how DEEPLY the body listens.
Practitioner Story.
A lifetime of dance taught me to listen to the body — not just in how it moves, but in how it holds stress, strain, and recovery.
I trained professionally at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and worked with a contemporary dance company in Cardiff, UK. Injury was a constant presence. And pushing through it, I slowly realised, wasn't working.
How I work.
My studio in Lake Hawea, Wanaka combines advanced myofascial release and remedial massage — always guided by what the body is ready to receive, never by what I think it should tolerate.
The work that changed everything.
My introduction to myofascial release marked a turning point. The work felt different — more responsive, less force-driven. The changes went beyond symptom relief. There was space returning to my body, and with it, a different quality of ease.
That shift continues to inform how I work today.
